1. Accessing Mikrotiks

There are 4 ways access the Mikrotik routers or switchs. You should be able to access a locally connected router using one of these methods however to access them remotely(or from other locations) you have to follow these instructions Mikrotik remote access which should ran on setup

1.The main way to connect is Winbox

• Downloaded at https://mt.lv/winbox64
• Type in the IP, MAC Address or use Neighbors Tab
• Type in your Radius credentials(ask someone if you don’t have access)there is also a autosave check mark just be carful with it, Click connect
• You can also save the location by making a Note(Example location name) and clicking Add/Set which will now be under Managed or ask someone to export a list

2.You can use the web interface as long as it is enabled(disabled for most businesses)

• Go to your web browser and type the IP(example 192.168.80.1) in and press enter
• Type your Radius credentials in(ask someone if you don’t have access) and connect

3.You can SSH into it as long as its enabled(disabled for most businesses)

• You can use Windows powershell or if your logged in to a Mikrotik using the terminal
• On windows search bar type powershell and open it
• Type in
  ssh (IP example 10.10.10.1) user=(radius login name)
  Press Enter then type in password and Enter again
• for Mikrotik terminal type system enter, Then type
  ssh (IP example 10.10.10.1) user=(radius login name)
  Press Enter then type in password and Enter again

4.You can use winbox RoMAN(This only works for devices which allow RoMAN)

• In winbox click the button connect to RoMAN
• Select the site you want to connect to then type in your radius credentials(ask someone if you don’t have access) click connect button
